Response to a post that I posted

Smeone has said that all rock is, is sex, and drugs… I do not agree, at all. My post was about my top 5 favorite bands, 4 of those top 5 bands were local bands, which most of them are my friends. Such as Blow It Up, Artifas, and Super BoB. What’s funny, is these bands don’t smoke anything other than cigarettes, and they don’t don’t any other kind of drugs. They also don’t go off having sex with any “groupie” girl that comes around throwing their bras and panties on stage. Most of them have girlfriends, some of them are married, and other have very committed relationships with their finances. So, not all rock music is about sex and drugs. Next time you want to say something about the bands I listed, or about what Rick music is about, do your research, otherwise don’t bother commenting on my posts if you don’t know shit about what you are talking about.

My top 5 favorite and not so favorite wrestlers

Favorites

1. CM Punk-
CM Punk is definitely one of my all time favorite wrestlers. I have been a fan of him ever since he wrestled a time limit matching IWA I think it was, in a 60 minute draw against Delierious. That was one of the best matches, and he never gave up, and kept going. Today he is my favorite because of his I don’t give a shit personality, I am the best in the world attitude, and his ability to say whatever he wants, and not caring what others think. You either like him or you don’t and it doesn’t matter to him which one it is. When he played the “bad guy” in WWE I was still a fan because he was still a badass wreslter. He still had the I don’t care attitude and was a smartass (just like now, nothing has changed) about any and everything that someone said or did. He is funny, and brings a whole new attitude to WWE, which in my opinion, was definitely needed.

2. Triple H-
I have liked triple H since I first saw him in D Generation X with Chyna, x-PAC, Road Dogg Jesse James, and more. The I don’t care attitude, once again, caught my attention, but I think it was more of the degenerate side of him that I liked the most. He was always making jokes, being funny, picking on people, and just being your typical outsider badass. He is an awesome wrestler, and has the ability to take wrestling to a whole new level. He never gives up, he never quits, and he never surrenders. He can get into a mind set, and that’s when he becomes dangerous. I had the opportunity to meet him in real life and I will say that he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

3. Edge-
I love Edge for the fact that he is the all time best high flyer I have ever seen. When it came to table matches, to ladder matches (his specialty) he was always taking risks for the highest spot you could find and just soaring in the air. He was not afraid to take risks, and I think this is why I am so in love with his wrestling style. He is very nice in real life as well, and he is funny and also brings comedy to the ring. Whether he is I. The ring cracking jokes on someone, or just being goofy back stage on camera, he definitely is nice to see and to get a good laugh in.

4. John Morrison-
John Morrison. First off he is my celebrity crush. IT have had a crush on him ever since ECW when he was tag team partners with the miz. He is another high flying superstar that takes wrestling to a whole new level, and let’s be honest, ladies, he is aweso to stare at! He is definitely grateful to his fans and his wrestling ability does not just stop with good looks and high flying ability. He incorporates his workout routines with this crazy out of your mind, jump from thing to another, leap off the walls, let’s do some back flips off this wall, type of stuff. The thing is, when he does this, he does not stop, he just keeps going. It is pretty awesome to watch, he is an all around great performer.

5. Shemus-
Shemus is an Irish wrestler from Dublin Ireland. The man is a beast and is hard to take down. He is always confident in whatever he does, and his wrestling style is pretty simple, get out of my way or you will get a boot the face. He absolutely puts on a show, and every time you hear hear his ring music, you can’mutely but stand up and start cheering whether you are a fan or not, all because you know that the match he is about to compete in, is going to be one hell of a match. He too is a nice guy in real life, and is funny on screen as well off. Me being Irish as well, he is obviously one of my favorite by default.

Not so favorite wrestlers

1. Vicky Gurrero-
This woman is by far the most annoying woman in the WWE. Her voice is high pitched, scratchy, and annoying. Though nice in person, I hate hearing “excuse me” every time she comes out to introduce 2 other wrestlers that I particularly don’t like, Jack Swagger, and Dolph Ziggler. she cheats, exaggerates, and overall is just not opmy favorite. If she wasn’t annoying, did not try to help her guys win by cheating, etc… Then maybe I wouldn’t mind her as much.

2. David Otunga-
David Otunga, besides being a kiss ass, he’s not good at anything else. His wrestling consists of body slams, clotheslines, and scoop slams, which are the only thing he does while in the ring. He is John lauranetis or however you spell his name, little bitch boy. He dresses like a queer bag, with a bow tie, and collar shirt. He walks around drinking coffee or whatever is in his coffee mug, and he graduated from Harvard law. You suck at wrestling, and should have stuck to your original career plan. You are a good kiss ass but that’s only going to get you so far in the wrestling business… Unless you pick up other great talents, such as under the desk “inspiration” since your wrestling career is going to go nowhere.

3. The Miz-
The Miz was a nice guy when I met him once in Fayetteville, Nc, but I can’t stand his annoying attitude. His role is to walk around and act like his shit don’t stink. He is does have some good wrestling abilities, but he is just annoying, a lot like Vicky. He thinks he deserves everything the WWE has to offer, and is mad that he has been replaced as the best by the best, CM Punk. He was a bad WWE champion, and he is a bad actor as well. More power to CM Punk for taking over! It was about time someone other than the Miz and Cena got a shot at the title.

4. The Rock-
I don’t like the rock, mainly because I have just never been a fan. I know he is one of the best of the best, but I just don’t like him. I think he is overrated, and he made mention that he was coming back to the WWE but is NEVER there, and is constantly flying around the world to promote his movies. He is only coming back to wrestle for wrestlemainia, and has not wrestled at all during RAW or smacksdown. He only shows up on the titantron or once in a blue moon make an appearance on RAW to talk shit back and forth to Cena. If you tell the fans that you are coming back to wrestle, do it, don’t just show up to argue back and forth like a bunch of high school teenage girls, fighting over a guy. Grow some balls, and give the WWE fans what they want. WRESTLING AT A SHOW!

5. Daniel Bryan-
Ok, I was never a fan of Daniel and recently I have become to strongly dislike even more. He also walks around and acts like he is hot shit, but he isn’t. He can’t wrestle, he has turned into a self centered, I only care about myself type of guy, and puts his “gf” in harms way all the time. The only reason she comes out to ringside with him is so that he can use her a shield, because he knows most of the wrestlers will not hit or harm a female. Kinda messed up in my opinion, and just says that he is a panzie.

This is just something extra that I wanted to add. Chris Jericho, I don’t like him as a wrestler. I have met him when WWE came to do a house show in Tallahassee, FL and he is really nice. He was doing a book signing, and getting pictures done with fans, it was definitely awesome. As far as his wrestling goes, I like his style. What I don’t like is that he portrays himself to be the best in world, when in fact he is not, and CM Punk has the t-shirt to prove it. I’m waiting on my ice cream BTW WWE. CM Punk ice cream would be AWESOME, so chop chop!

Top 5 bands

For a school assignment, I had to pick a blog topic and write about it. I chose to write about my top 5 bands. Below I listed the band, and why I like them. Enjoy!

1. Pantera- i became a fan of Pantera when i first heard the song, “Cowboys from Hell” in, I think it was 1991, and I think I was 5. In my opinion, I think they were one of the best bands of all time. The riffs were amazing, the lyrics were awesome, and not to mention the overall sound of the band. They were the reason I looked at my mom after hearing the song, and saying, “mom, I want to play drums.” I remember she smiled, and said we will see. Either way, they were and always will be one of my favorite bands of all time. RIP dimebag Darryl.

2. Green day- I became a fan of green day when I heard their album dookie. I think I was about 8 and my mother had their album. I thought they were the coolest sounding band ever at the time! They had a differ sound than what I had normally listened to, which was mainly what my mother listened to. They had this grunge, punk rock sound to them that appealed to me. The lyrics were not always there, but still great none the less. Plus, it didn’t hurt that Billie Joel was easy on the eyes!

3. Artifas- ok, this is a new band to me. I first heard them the beginning of march, 2012 at a club in town called club episodes. They were amazing! These guys had a great sound, the lead guitarist had amazing solos that showed off his style, the singer had a very unique voice that you will not find anywhere else, and the drummer was BADASS! The guys are all awesome, and friendly, not to mention the all around sound is amazing. If you haven’t heard of these guys I suggest you look them up on Facebook!

4. Super bob- Ok these guys are by far my favorite band of all time! When I first saw them live I had no idea who they were, but when they got on stage they immediately caught my attention with the colorful hair, and dreadlocks. Not to mentions the tattoos were awesome! when I heard their songs, they were definitely a unique sounding band, and the I don’t give a damn lyrics caught my attention for sure. They have amazing stage energy, constantly jumping around the stage. They are awesome to the fans, always giving back and keeping the fans up to date n their daily lives. They always thank the fans for coming out and supporting the music scene. I recommend these guys as well. Look them up on Facebook, like them, and share them.

5. Blow it up- I love these guys! They are funny, always goofing off on stage, and have that punk sound that I love to hear. The lyrics are awesome, the sound is great, and the guitarist has awesome riffs. Not only does the singer get out into the crowd, but the guitarist does as well, which is really awesome. They are always saying thanks to the fans, giving back, and very cool guys to meet. They are always grateful that you came to their shows, and often let you know by introducing themselves after or before a set to all the people that show up. I suggest these guys as well.

These are my thoughts on the bands that I listed. What do you think about them, and what are your favorite bands?

Tallahassee, Fl music scene

In Tallahassee, Florida, the music scene is almost dead, at least that’s what all the bands keep bitching about. He’s my problem… The music scene is not dead, the bands, well some bands around town don’t give back to the fans. The bands that play a show, one, for example, had the balls to get on stage, tell everyone to STFU and listen. Who does that? People literally got up and walked out. Some of the bands don’t tell their fans “thank you for showing up” or “awesome to see you tonight, thanks for supporting the local scenes”. There are a few bands around town that does go out their way, promote their shows promote other bands shows and take the time to get on twitter, Facebook, whatever to say hey guys thanks for coming out or thank you to all the fans that come to our show last night. Also, there are a few bands that just sit in the corner, or hang out with just their “friends” or other band mates and don’t mingle, or walk around to introduce themselves to the people THAT PAID TO SEE THEM! Don’t walk around acting like your shit don’t stink and you don’t have to thank the fans that came to see the show. Without the fans you are NOTHING. You will not make it in the music industry if you keep treating the fans like shit. My advice? Get over yourself. Without a good attitude, you are not going to go far.
